Hi! I am so happy you have come across this webpage and community. My name is Ali Rogan and I am the business owner and nutrition coach of Well Fed Macros. I am a business owner, a wife, and a mom of three toddlers. I am someone who's very passionate about fitness and nutrition and I want to encourage others to learn the power of personal wellness through this community.
Since my young adult years I have always been interested in living an active and healthy lifestyle. My hobbies as a teenager included cheerleading, gymnastics, and weightlifting. During the peak of my athletic career, I felt the unrealistic beauty standards to achieve the false idealism of a body image that we all so desperately chase. I was never the skinny girl and I quickly learned that I was chasing an unhealthy body shape that society had created.
In my twenties, I found my love for Crossfit. I loved the community that the gym created, but beyond that – I learned to embrace my muscles and thicker body type as I grew stronger. I became a crossfit coach, business manager of the gym, and became a competitor in the sport of CrossFit. I was thriving!
When I turned thirty, my priorities for fitness changed after having several injuries and deciding to start a family of my own. I became a mom of two girls and a boy in under three years. As one can imagine, this was a significant milestone that not only shifted my daily habits, but my body and nutrition as well. I was tired, overwhelmed, stressed, and uncomfortable in my own skin. I neglected my nutrition and fitness journey that I had made such large strides in.
My new priority was my babies – but in order to be an amazing mother, there is work to be done in the self care department. The best thing I did for myself when I became a mother and began a new season of life was learning how to put myself first when it came to selfcare. I got my nutrition back on track with macro counting and slowly learned how to incorporate fitness into my hectic days.
Everybody’s fitness and health journey looks different. Everybody has different wants, needs, desires, and limitations when it comes to eating and working out. However - learning how to properly fuel your body and move it in ways that allow you to become a better version of yourself does not have to be an endless battle.
Through it all, the one thing I never gave up on was loving myself, giving myself grace, and loving my body for the season of life that it was in. I am living proof that you can achieve your health goals despite the many directions that life pulls you in.
I created this business because I want to help other women spark their self love, find their body confidence, and create a sense of empowerment through a nutrition based community. I want to guide you in transforming yourself in a way that leaves you feeling happy, full of energy and on top of the world!
